Giving to the next generation

The IRA Charitable Transfer is a great way to make gifts and receive tax benefits in return. Gifts of stock or securities will also have a lasting impact.

Making a gift of securities is simple and offers several valuable financial benefits: donate appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual funds; the total value of the stock upon transfer is tax-deductible; and there is no obligation to pay any capital gains taxes on appreciation. Your broker can assist you in donating stock. It's worth noting that, to protect your privacy, your bank does not release your name or contact information to The Urbanist Fund.
